Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role that artificial intelligence applications can play in enhancing the quality of education, and to explore the gap between the theoretical potential of these technologies and the practical challenges of their implementation. Adopting a descriptive-analytical approach, the study seeks to build an integrated conceptual framework that can guide educational institutions and policymakers toward the effective and responsible use of artificial intelligence.
The study reviews theoretical literature related to the concepts of artificial intelligence and educational quality in the digital age, focusing on specific applications such as personalized learning, intelligent tutoring systems, and learning analytics. It also analyzes leading international and Arab models in this field and critically reviews the most prominent previous studies to identify areas of agreement, disagreement, and existing research gaps.
The study concludes that successful integration of artificial intelligence is not limited to the technical aspect alone, but rather requires a comprehensive strategy that balances technological, pedagogical, regulatory, and ethical dimensions. Accordingly, the study proposes a conceptual framework that identifies the key components and implementation mechanisms necessary to ensure that artificial intelligence technologies contribute to achieving high-quality, equitable, and sustainable education, while emphasizing the importance of ethical governance and continuous professional training for teachers. The study concludes a set of practical recommendations for various stakeholders in the education system.
