The Role of Entrepreneurial Orientation of Educational Administrative Leaders On the Continuous Improvement of Institutional Performance: A Field Study on Principals of General Education Schools (Boys’ Section) in Jeddah Governorate
Abstract
This study aims to identify the role of the entrepreneurial orientation of educational administrative leaders on the continuous improvement of institutional performance. To achieve this goal, a descriptive analytical approach was used by distributing a questionnaire to a simple random sampling of principals at general education schools (boys’ section) in Jeddah Governorate, amounting to (240) items.
The results of the study showed that there is a significant positive correlation between the dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation and the continuous improvement of institutional performance. Also, there is a significant effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the continuous improvement of institutional performance.
The study recommended the need to apply the entrepreneurial approach because of its impact on the continuous improvement of institutional performance and encourage working school principals to practice activities that are characterized by a high degree of risk, which will allow them to gain more opportunities and to learn from their mistakes.
