Abstract

The global insurance industry is under pressure from several directions at once new digital tools, customers who expect more, and competitors who are moving faster. For financial services organizations, digital transformation has stopped being optional; it now shapes how services get delivered and how performance gets measured (Shakir & Vrînceanu, 2025). In the Middle East and North Africa, insurers face a specific version of this challenge. They need to modernize without

breaking what already works, and do it while keeping customers' trust intact. Egypt sits at an interesting point here: as one of the region's larger insurance markets, it's a reasonable place to ask whether digital transformation programs actually improve how employees work and perform.
