Workplace Spirituality as a Mediator between Ethical Work Climate and Organisational Embeddedness Applied to Education Sector Staff at Mansoura University
Abstract
The current study analyzes the direct effects of ethical work climate might have on organizational embeddedness, as well as the mediating role of exposure to workplace spirituality.
The sample comprised 370 employees from education sector at Mansoura university, among them was 277 valid surveys with a response rate of 74.8%. Partial least Square (PLS) was used to Validate and test the measurement and structural models.
The results revealed that ethical work climate had direct effects on both workplace spirituality and organizational embeddedness and an indirect effect on organizational embeddedness through workplace spirituality. The study showed that workplace spirituality had direct effect on organizational embeddedness.
