The Five Major Factors of the Doctor’s Personality and Their Impact on Job Alienation: An Applied Study
Abstract
The study aims to reveal the effect of the five major factors of the doctor’s personality on job alienation, by applying it to doctors in government hospitals in the southern Palestinian governorates. Therefore, a proposed model was designed for the study, and a survey list was designed and distributed to doctors in government hospitals in the southern Palestinian governorates.
The program SPSS Version 25 was used to analyze the relationships. The size of the population was 1660 individuals, and a stratified random sampling method was used. The size of this sample reached 322 individuals, and the number of valid forms entered into the program reached 318 forms, representing 98.7% of the total sample size.
The results of the statistical analysis showed that there is a significant correlation between the Big Five factors of the doctor’s personality and job alienation. The results of the statistical analysis also showed that there is a positive significant effect on some dimensions of the Big Five factors of the doctor’s personality and the dimensions of job alienation.
The researcher proposed a set of recommendations, including that government hospital administrations should pay attention to the five major factors of personality; Because they reflect the positive effects and negative effects on their behavior in the workplace, in order to benefit from the positive influence of the five major factors for doctors, and avoid any negative influence.
