"The Role of Information Management Technology in Achieving Comprehensive Inventory Management in the Palestinian Cellular Communications Company «Jawwal” in the Gaza Strip"
Abstract
The study aimed to know the role of information management technology in achieving the total quality management in the Palestinian cellular communications company Jawwal in the Gaza Strip. To achieve the study objectives, the descriptive analytical approach was adopted, and a questionnaire was distributed as a tool for the study.
The study population is (150) male and female employees, and using the comprehensive inventory method and retrieve (131) a questionnaire with a response rate of (87.3%), and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: The reality of information management technology in the company was very high with a relative weight of (83.2%), and the results indicated a statistically significant relationship between the dimensions of information management technology strategy and total quality management.
While there was an effect of the dimensions of information management technology strategy (infrastructure, knowledge makers, and technological efficiency) on total quality management. Moreover, there was no impact of the dimensions (financial resources, skill and experience) on total quality management, and the study recommended that the company develops and develops the skills and capabilities of its employees by holding training courses for total quality management and information management technology.
