Measuring the Relationship between Leadership Competencies and Challenges of Saudi Arabia Vision (2030) in Governmental Agencies from Administrative Leaders Perspective
Abstract
This research measures the relationship between leadership competencies and the challenges of Saudi Arabia vision (2030), represented in the strategic, managerial and organizational challenges, and related to human resource practices from Administrative Leaders Perspective in governmental agencies, while leadership competencies include: change, strategic communication, and team leadership.
To achieve research aim, it relied on descriptive analytical method as well as researcher depends on his prior source (Al-Qarni and Al-Amin 2019) as main source in conducting current study. A questionnaire was developed and distributed to a sample of (164) respondents from Administrative Leaders with (job ranked 11-15) in (250) Saudi governmental agencies to collect primary data, and based on a simple random sampling. The results indicated that change competency for leaders has significant relation with challenges of Saudi Arabia vision (2030), Whereas, strategic communication, and team leadership have no significant relation with challenges of Saudi Arabia vision (2030) at the level of significance (0.05)
Based on the research findings and conclusions, a number of academic and practical recommendations and future research suggestions are proposed to provide Administrative Leaders in Saudi governmental agencies with the importance of leadership competencies in dealing with challenges of Saudi Arabia vision (2030).
