Abstract

The research explores the effect of the industrial development on the distribution of Egypt’s population. As the population mass lives in an area of not more than 7% of the total area which is estimated by one million square meters. This problem is considered one of the most critical structural imbalances that face the Egyptian economy. In addition, the Egyptian society has long co-existed with it as individual citizens and executive decision makers.


Among the findings the paper has reached is that the fair regional distribution and variety of the industrial investments overall Egyptian geographical space, especially in new cites, have several positive external effects. Among what the researcher recommends is to encourage and stimulate formal and informal institutions for all social services and daily services provided to citizens to resettle in new cities to be a factor for attracting residents to settle in new cities.
